Managing Consultant

Job Summary:

Burwood Group Managing Consultants are responsible for the delivery of consulting services in our IT Optimization (ITO) practice area. Managing Consultants work with Burwood Consultants and Project Manager(s) to deliver IT Service Management related services; and monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance of projects and client engagements; while working to ensure the ultimate success of the project and 100% client satisfaction. Managing Consultants are also responsible for scoping and developing approaches for ITO projects, pre-sales support activities, and proposal response and development. In addition to typical professional services activities, Burwood Group Managing Consultants engage in client relationship management activities with key clients to maintain ongoing relationships.

Managing Consultants must have the following qualifications:

• Strong track record and experience as a business technology professional with deep knowledge of the business of IT
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT business process, people and technology related issues
• Experience presenting to and interfacing with senior business and IT management
• Detail oriented and self motivated to learn and deliver quality work
• Ability to self manage work, time, and priorities

Additionally, top candidates will have:

• Excellent leadership, decision-making and people management skills
• Possesses the ability to inspire and motivate others to deliver top quality work
• Certification in ITIL and/or CobiT
• Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills
• Must be a self starter, take the initiative and have the ability to multi-task
• Strong educational background and the desire to learn
• Ability to work in a team-based project environment is an absolute must
