Burwood Group Announces New Location in Normal Normal, IL - April 23, 2007 - Burwood Group has moved into the new Bank of Illinois building in Uptown Normal. It begins operations there today after moving from its previous location in Bloomington on Eastland Drive. The firm, based in Chicago, opened its office here in 2003 after looking for a stable community in which to grow. The company has since opened offices in Silicon Valley, California, St. Louis, Missouri, the Quad Cities and Peoria, Illinois. The new office space, located on the top floor of the new Bank of Illinois building, is three times larger than the former space on Eastland Drive and reflects the growth of the company in this region. "We have had tremendous success here in Central Illinois," says Jeff Hartweg, Managing Director of the Heartland Region. "The new Normal location is a perfect spot for our team and is central to supporting all of our clients and other offices in St. Louis, Davenport and Peoria. The new transportation center and old and new Uptown conveniences are also great for our commutes to and from our Chicago headquarters." "We have a few surprises that we will be contributing to the Uptown area and we're very excited about being part of the community," Hartweg adds. Burwood Group entered the Central Illinois market in 2003 and has quickly become the leading infrastructure consulting firm in the region with a significant focus on the highly redundant networks that are required in health care, its key industry.
