Healthcare organizations are focused on improving patient flow, clinical processes, quality of care, productivity, and cost efficiency in the patient care continuum. It is important to map the right technologies to nursing workflows in order to deliver the desired improvements. Technology adoption and solution impact is highly dependent on effective collaboration with clinicians and nurses. This Healthcare IT Leadership Forum will focus on adapting and adopting process and technology to improve clinician adoption and transform healthcare, real time.

Topic Information

This forum will review time studies focusing on increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of nursing care by leveraging technology. Additionally, we will discuss successful technology architecture implementations at local hospitals presented by forum participants such as nurse call integration with biomedical alerting, location services, and tracking relative to technology, process, and adoption considerations.
