Maggie Walder is the Practice Director of the Project Management Office (PMO) at Burwood Group. She has 15+ years of IT program management and consulting experience. Maggie serves as the primary team lead for customer-facing program management, bringing a knowledgeable and experienced perspective to the planning, architecture, and completion of critical strategy and implementation projects. She drives the definition of project outcomes at project commencement and champions that those outcomes be quantified and measured post-project completion. In doing so, she ensures alignment between project results, organizational strategy, and pillars of excellence.

As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Maggie has extensive experience leading large, complex projects within academic and community hospital settings. Her portfolio includes project leadership over the selection, design, integration, and implementation of cutting-edge technology investments within existing and new acute care tower environments. She has managed clinical-technical strategy assessments and subsequent multi-year strategic roadmap development and has run the valuation and development of Medical Device Security programs. Maggie has facilitated the creation and execution of Integrated Caregiver Experience (ICE) end-user adoption training, as well as integrated workflow design, commission testing, and deployment.

In her tenure at Burwood, Maggie has indirectly managed a multitude of resources, created and implemented new tools, workflow, and templates to increase productivity, trained and mentored new employees. She has analyzed team trends, resourcing needs, and financial metrics, and has become well-acclimated with technology services across UC, A/V, networking, data center, wireless, ITIL, and security platforms.

Prior to joining Burwood Group, Maggie worked in sales at a national, for-profit online university. She received a LEAN Sensei Belt, LEAN Six Sigma from Villanova University, is PMP certified, and graduated with a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Michigan.

In her spare time, Maggie enjoys rooting for the Michigan Wolverines (Go Blue!), eating all the pizza, staying active outside, and laughing with her husband, daughter, and son.
